This PowerPoint slide is a good way to visually document a communications plan. If you
find it of interest, start with a piece of paper for ease of use. Write your initials
in the center of the paper and draw three circles around them.
Your primary stakeholders should reside in the first circle. The second circle should
contain those who are indirectly affected by you. The third group of contacts are
external to your process.
I populated the circles/diagram from my calendar and filled in the rest over a week or
two.
The return is worthwhile. You will find gaps and communications that should be
discontinued.
